@Comics

@Comics is an initiative developed by the Department of Informatic Engineering at the University of Coimbra that, like us, are unconditional fans of comic strips. The event will take place next weekend (the 2nd and 3rd of February) in Coimbra, and various activities, from lectures to workshps, will be held, as well as the exchange and selling of books, magazines and other related stuff. The high point will certainly be the cartoons contest, whose theme is "Portugal, nowadays".

In a country where so much is yet to be done for comics, we salute this initiative and hope it's a success and takes place in the years to come. We'll try to be there. More information here.
