I remembered, by chance, while trying to write something for the 1st of May holiday, that this was the day of an important happening. It was in 1994, on a sunday afternoon, during just another race for the World Championship of Formula 1: the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, that Ayrton Senna rode an entire lap in the first place, a position he held until reaching the Tamburello corner. It would turn out to be his last lap.
Senna passed by us way too quickly. Since then, I have never watched another Formula 1 race.

The last lap.
Minutes before the start.
