Matroshka - ultracompact furniture

Initially, it was no more than a square platform with 2 metres of width, similar to a stage. Afterwards, another volume slides from its interior. They are two long hollow benches that can be used as sofas or, together, as a bed. Inside them, you can lodge four individual benches and a table with a telescopic lid. A set of movable shelves and two steps with drawers complete the set.

The Matroshka does its name justice, alluding to the famous sets of Russian dolls that fit into eachother. Here, everthing comes from inside everything, as well, with the differece being that this is not a toy; it works, even, and is very versatile. The number of possible combinations and uses seems to be unlimited. In just 4m2, there are enough pieces to accommodate twelve people in such diverse activities as sleeping, working, eating, resting, socializing, etc.
