The Flatshare Fridge is a creative and funtional fridge. Instead of consisting of a single compartment with a single door, it consists of a base in which you can fit up to four compartments. These flats are independent and can be costumized, in its outside design as well as its interior. The advantage is that opening only a small door, the temperature inside the fridge is better conserved, while each person enjoys his own refrigerated space.
The idea came to a design student at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Stefan Buchberger, and is, as of today, still a prototype. The puzzle or LEGO look of the appliance is interesting, but it is its functionality that makes this proposal worthy. We hope it comes to fruition.
