Pete Nelson: tree houses

Building houses on trees is not just for children anymore. Nowadays, anyone can have one and there are even people whose job is to design, build and sell them, by order. Pete Nelson is not only one of these people, he is a specialist on the subject and founder of Treehouse Workshop, Inc., in Seattle, USA.

Pete Nelson spends his time creating tree houses, from the most traditional, reminiscent of fairy tales, to the most unusual and innovative, that seem to be right out of a sci-fi movie. This task often takes him all over the world, in the search of new solutions. He has recently published the profusely illustrated book New Treehouses of the World, with the results of his research.
