Jonathan Leder was born and raised at New York during the 1970s, starting his career as assistant of very well known photographers, as Steve Klein.
As the digital cameras revolutionized the world of photography, Jonathan remained loyal to the 35 mm machines and the Polaroid. With an observant look and a very unique style, he captures really intimate and nostalgic images.

"I don't like women who are so perfect; I like women with personality, those who show to us something truthful about themselves", affirms Jonathan.
The images captured by his look are inspiring. With a retro touch, they transmit a very intimate and real ambiance. He doesn't need to use excessive subterfuges, like characterization or surrounding light.
