São Reino grew up between the city of Beja and a farm with sunflowers, bees, strawberries and ants, which was close to a railway line and an old Roman road. She currently lives in Lisbon. She’s a juggler, gardener and freelance baker, in virtue of which she got to know Hammershøi, because of a convention about ferment, a few years back. When she’s mad, she’s prone to tap dancing.
